Our Clinical Work Process

  1. Identify the clinical issues or mental health conditions.

  2. Assess according to recognised assessment and diagnostic guidelines, including psychometric tools and other assessment methods.

  3. Develop and implement a treatment plan based on evidence-based strategies, best practice intervention guidelines, and/or referral to other professionals as required.

  4. Monitor and evaluate intervention effectiveness in terms of symptom reduction and client goals.

  5. Maintainance of gains, including further support and booster sessions where needed.

We are Clinical Psychologists. Our work involves treating common mental health conditions. We also have expertise in treating the psychological consequences of medical conditions, injuries, and disabilities. We have many years of experience assessing and managing these issues at home and in the workplace.

Our therapeutic approaches include:

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

  • Mindfulness

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • EMDR

We use evidence-based interventions, which are techniques and therapeutic models with scientific evidence for their effectiveness. Many professions and health disciplines practice evidence-based medicine, which helps protect health service users and holds people like me accountable for our interventions.
